Nigerian superstar singer, Ayo Balogun, also known as Wizkid responded on Tuesday to a statement by President Muhammdu Buhari’s special assistant on social media, Lauretta Onochie, describing him as a foolish child for addressing President Muhammadu Buhari the way he did in a tweet.

Onochie had in a tweet described Wizkid as ignorant, insensitive and behaving like a child for attacking the president for the brutalities of SARS and addressing him as “old man”.

However, Wizkid responded to Onochie on Tuesday night and told her that age has nothing to do with demanding better governance in the country and that she should be ashamed of herself for making such a statement.

“Hahaha, a 77 year old man is not young ma … You are a woman and a mother and children are being killed by the police / sars and this is all you have to say. You should be ashamed of it !!! You should be ashamed of it !! I am a father and age has nothing to do with demanding a better government in my country !! “

Wizkid had on Sunday in a tweet, told Buhari that he was looking forward to the President of the United States, Donald Trump and his wife, Melania, to recover quickly and fully from Covid-19 to leave Trump alone and do something about the brutal killings of young Nigerians in the country by police / SARS.

He wrote “Donald Trump is none of your business! Old man! Police / Sarz keep killing young Nigerians daily! Do something! Nothing worries you about America! Face your country! “

Responding to Wizkid’s statement, Onochie said: “It is not disrespectful to call someone old. It is the way and the manner in which Ayo Balogun addressed the president that leaves a bitter taste in his mouth. He showed rude ignorance, insensitivity and childishness. But hey, it’s a #DumbkidNotWhizKid When I grow up I could learn to respect
