Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum has released a list (and pictures) of the fourth round of terrorists wanted by the Nigerian military.
The list of 86 names was released by the Army on Wednesday, and Army Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai asked members of the public, who know the whereabouts of any of the wanted terrorists, to report back. to the nearest advanced security.
Governor Zulum, on Wednesday, also approved the donation of 100 motorcycles for remote Army operations in the state.
Zulum also renewed his call to the Boko Haram insurgents, who are hiding in the Sambisa forest and the bushes on the shores of Lake Chad, to lay down their arms and surrender.
Those on the list are alleged to be members of the Boko Haram sect.
Some of the names on the list are Abubakar Shekau, leader of the Boko Haram sect, Abu Musa Al Barnawi, Modu Sulum, Malkam Umar, Bello Husba, Yan Kolo, Ibrahim Abu Maryam, Baka Kwasari, Bana Gonna, Mohammed Abu Maryam, Abu Imma and Abu Dardda.
The ceremony also witnessed the launch of civilian JTFs, hunters and vigilantes into the Nigerian Army Super Camp operations.
Buratai said the two events were part of the activities of the latest push to end Boko Haram activities in the northeast.
The army chief added that no “CJTF child” will participate in the operation, and asked the public to support the military in fishing for the remains of the terrorists.
