Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has named the players who will miss the Red Devils’ Carabao Cup quarter-finals against Everton on Wednesday night.
Solskjaer said Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Scott McTominay would miss the game against Everton at Goodison Park due to injury.
Wan-Bissaka and McTominay suffered injuries in Man United’s 6-2 win over Leeds United at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Wan-Bissaka was injured making a challenge during the Leeds United game, while McTominay, who scored a double, was forced to retire in injury time, leaving Man United with 10 men, after feeling discomfort in the groin.
“Those two [Wan-Bissaka and McTominay] He will definitely miss the game against Everton, “Solskjaer told Man United’s official website on Tuesday at his pre-game press conference.
“Hopefully it won’t be too long. They’ll be out, but other than that, I think they’re all, more or less, fine,” he said.
The start time for Everton vs Man United is at 9pm.
