Just five days after announcing the breakup with her husband, Austin Fanni, Nollywood actress Chacha Eke has revealed that she has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder.
Recall that the actress had announced on October 3 the collapse of her seven-year marriage of which she has had three children.
According to Chacha, she was leaving the union while she was still alive, leading to reports that attributed the breakdown to domestic violence.
In a video shared on Instagram, she said: “Some people say I am crazy but I am not and I am making this video so that everyone knows that I ended the marriage.
“I don’t have much to prove that I’m done with him, but I’m done, I’m going with my life.
Meanwhile, in another short video she posted Wednesday night, the actress said her estranged husband never laid hands on her.
“Five days ago I made a video saying that my marriage with Austin Faani ended and that video came with a lot of reaction from people and many hinted that it is a clear case of domestic violence,” he said in the video recorded from his hospital. bed in Asaba, the capital of the Delta state.
“It isn’t. Austin has never laid his hands on me. He hasn’t even raised his voice to me and God in heaven knows that’s the truth. I’m here at First Delta American Hospital in Asaba receiving treatment.
“Many psychiatrists have come to evaluate me mentally and have diagnosed me with bipolar disorder.
“Bipolar is real. Here in Africa, we tend not to know it due to ignorance. I can’t say how I’ve felt about these videos I’ve been making, ”said Chacha, who looks pale and depressed in the video.
