The source stated: “The suspects arrested in connection with the murder of the late Dakup Dashe Ntiem are Dumtim Barko, who is the mai angwan (community leader) from Kalambai, Ponfa Nimfyel from Pangkrim. Pontim Timla of Maje, Mandap Ndam of Pangkrim, Gwamtim Zingkur of Pangkrim. The remaining two still at large are from Nban of the North Langtang Local Government Area.

“The Pangkrim are under Shendam LGA while the Mai Angwan is under Mikang LGA. The incident occurred on 04-28-2021 after midnight. He left three children, Naankuk, Naanshin, Yimket, and a pregnant wife.

The late Dakup will be buried on Wednesday and the State Police Command through the Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Gabriel Uba, however, confirmed the incident saying: “There was a problem in Lalin, some suspects have been arrested. and the investigation is ongoing. “
