A middle-aged man, Chigozie Emmanuel, told a Ikeja High Court how his pastor, Elijah Emenandy, allegedly introduced him to pornography, masturbation and anal sex in his church office.
Emmanuel, who was presented in evidence by Lagos State lawyer, Olu Azeez, testified against the cleric, accused of sexual assault by penetration and sexual assault.
The alleged survivor told the court that the incident occurred when he was 19 years old and that the accused was his pastor.
He said that in December 2020, the accused had told his mother that he had a vision about the witness, where he would die in February 2021 and requested that his mother bring him for prayer immediately.
According to him, when his mother told him, she did not take it seriously, but the defendant sent her a message again asking her to attend to him immediately.
Narrating how he went to see the pastor, the alleged survivor said: “My mother and I went to see him at his church during a late-night program. Later, when she wanted to see me, she asked me if my mother could accompany me, but I told her that she could handle it.
“He told me that we had met before at a church (name withheld) and that he was my teacher at church, and then I remembered how I knew him. He said that he had a vision of how I died in February 2021 and I asked him if he should give me a solution. He said that he would pray for me and that he should go for counseling every Tuesday; He told me other things and that he would give me spiritual assignments. He asked me questions like if he had ever had sex or masturbated and if he watched pornography; He also asked me if he had wet dreams or if he was into fraud. I said that he had not done those things, but that he was about to commit fraud.
“He advised me not to get involved in fraud and to change my lifestyle, and so I did; “I stopped wearing earrings, my dress code and my way of speaking.”
The witness said that one of the next days he called him into his office and asked him to take off his pants and touch his manhood until it became hard, but he said he couldn’t because he had never done it before. .

She told the court that over the next few days, the accused would take off her clothes and ask her to do the same, sit on his lap and then make her suck on her nipples.
He told that court that at first he refused, but the defendant told him he was releasing powers from parts of his body to drive away any spirit of death.
The alleged survivor said the defendant began showing him porn videos on his phone to teach him how to masturbate in his church office.
He said the pastor took him to his friend’s house, where he did the same thing and asked him to stand on a Bible and masturbate.
The witness said that he could not do what the pastor asked of him; therefore he stepped aside from the Bible and approached the bed where the accused lay looking at him.
“After trying for a while, I ejaculated and the defendant looked at my semen and said it was fine,” he said.
According to the witness, the pastor told him that he should ejaculate more often and then called him to the bed to lie with him and suck his nipples.
“He asked me to suck his nipple until he ejaculated and said that this was how he had helped other boys, and we did it at his friend’s house twice after that day. Then we started again at church, and he was naked and asked me to suck his nipples and masturbate, that every time we ejaculated together, life was transferred from his to mine so that I wouldn’t die. I believed him because he was like my spiritual father.
“Then he promised to help me with my education and everything, that I should move to his house after telling my mom, but I didn’t tell my dad. I moved into his separate living room apartment somewhere on Mile 2. I met a boy, a lady and a baby in the house. The woman and the child slept in the room while we slept in the living room. At night he started touching me again and made me suck his nipples while he sucked mine; “We did this every night.”

The witness further said that the accused, after that, asked to penetrate his anus, but he refused, and the next day the accused became angry and said that he refused to do God’s work with him last night.
He told the court that days later, because the defendant was persistent, he agreed to have anal sex and then suffered severe bruising because he bled for two days.

According to him, the pastor made him masturbate with the accused twice a day, while the next task was to drink his urine, an act he said he refused at first but later did after much persistence.
The alleged survivor further said that the accused ejaculated in her mouth and said it was a transfer of power.
He said the defendant also told him to eat his feces, which he did once and vomited. However, the problem began when she started watching pornography on her own with the phone the defendant gave her.
He said the defendant asked him to always watch same-sex pornography and not the other way around, and that he hit him every time he had a wet dream, piercing his manhood, scrotum and stomach with a syringe.
He informed the court that one of those days, the accused used the center to pierce his veins and black blood started gushing out.
He said that after torturing the alleged survivor, the accused would say that he should feel the spiritual pains he felt when he disobeyed.
More abuse
The alleged survivor said that at one point, the defendant pierced his body, applied St. Michael’s oil to his eyes, poured ground pepper on his bleeding body, and asked him to eat dog feces, which he then did. of great strength. , and he vomited.
Justice Oyindamola Ogala adjourned the case until December 11 and 14 for trial to continue.
The defendant, who appeared ill and had reportedly been brought from the hospital, is being tried on three counts of sexual assault by penetration and sexual assault.
The offenses contradict Section 261 of the Lagos State Criminal Law of 2015.
He pleaded not guilty at the arraignment.
