The minimum cut off marks suggested by JAMB for admissions into public universities, private universities, public polytechnic, private polytechnics and colleges of education are 140, 100, 100, 100 and 100 respectively.
Jamb Cut-off mark For Universities and Polytechnics.
JAMB reintroduces post-UTME and reduces general cut-off mark to 140 for universities and 100 for Polytechnics and Colleges of Education.
Candidates will have to score at least 140 (universities) and 100 (Polytechnics / Colleges of Education) in their Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to gain admission.
JAMB Cut-off Mark for Private Universities.
The JAMB approved cut-off mark for private universities is 140 as minimum UTME score for admission.
Candidates will have to score at least 140 in their Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to gain admission.

For public polytechnic in Nigeria, JAMB cut-off point is 100 minimum UTME score for admission.
