The popular Ketu board market was destroyed by fire on Sunday. Goods and services well destroyed, but no one was killed in the incident.
The Director General of Emergency Management of the State of Lagos confirmed the incident, LASEMA, Dr. Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, who confirmed the incident, said: “Emergency first responders comprising the LASEMA Response Team and the Fire Service Lagos State have brought down the raging hell at Ketu Plank Market on Demurin Street, Ketu, Lagos.
“The cause of the fire that supposedly started in a part of the market has not yet been determined, however, it is evident that there is extensive damage and valuable assets that have been destroyed by the fire.
“Fortunately, no lives were lost in hell that has been controlled and suffocated.”
