The Lagos state government said Sunday that 377 projects will be inaugurated across the state in the coming months.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu unveiled this during the 2021 Hybrid Edition of the Lagos State Annual Thanksgiving Service, held at the Lagos House Ground, Ikeja.
Sanwo-Olu said that all the projects were started to positively impact the lives of all Lagos residents.
He said he had signed the largest budget in the state’s history on December 31, 2020.
“The budget for 2021 is ready for implementation,” said the governor.
According to him, starting this month (January), the inhabitants of Lagos will see a renewed effort to improve their well-being and their standard of living.
“Over the next several months, we have 377 projects scheduled for launch across the state in various sectors.
“All of them were undertaken to positively impact the lives of all the residents of Lagos State.
These projects include the 52 ton per hour Imota rice mill in Ikorodu, the Pen Cinema Junction flyover and ramp in Agege, the restored Glover Memorial Hall, Marina, Lagos Island and Ariyo (Mile 10) – Ira – Muwo Bridge Phase 1 in Ojo.
Others are the remodeled Youth Center in Abesan, Ipaja, the Lagos State Affordable Public Housing Plan in Idale, Badagry, comprising 252 2-bedroom bungalow units, and the LagosHOMS Housing Project in Iponri, comprising 132 units. of housing.
“The LagosHOMS Housing Project in Lekki Phase 2, which comprises 84 housing units and the LagosHOMS Housing Project Phase 2B in Igbogbo, which comprises 84 housing units, are also billed for the inauguration.”
Sanwo-Olu said that as a government, the driving force was the vision of a Great Lakes, which revolved around the six strategic pillars of the T.H.E.M.E.S.
The Nigerian News Agency (NAN) reports that T.H.E.M.E.S, acronym for the six strategic development agendas of the Sanwo-Olu administration, namely, Traffic and Transportation Management, Health and Environment, Education and Technology.
He called on the people of Lagos to continue to pray for peace, prosperity and the continued growth of the state.

“I wish you all a Happy New Year once again and I pray that 2021 will usher in blessings and good news for each and every one of us and for our beloved state in general,” said Sanwo-Olu.
