Lionel Messi refused to shake the hand of Paris Saint-Germain manager Mauricio Pochettino after he was withdrawn during his match against Lyon on Sunday.
The 34-year-old has yet to score for Ligue 1 since arriving as a free agent from Barcelona.
Messi only made his first start for PSG in Wednesday’s Champions League opener against Club Brugge and the game ended 1-1.
Against Lyon, Messi started at number 10 with Neymar on his left, Angel Di Maria on his right and Kylian Mbappé leading the line.
Shortly after the Argentine hit the crossbar with a 30-yard free kick, PSG was hit by a punch early in the second half.
Karl Toko Ekambi ran down the left wing and crossed for Lucas Paqueta to make it 1-0.
Neymar tied shortly after the penalty spot.
Messi had grown noticeably tired during the second half, but was shocked and remarkably unimpressed when his number 30 was shown in the 75th minute, when Pochettino brought in Achraf Hakimi.
