The National Business and Technical Examinations Board, NABTEB, has said that it will begin its NBC / NTC exams from September 21 to October 15.
NABTEB Registrar and CEO Professor Ifeoma Isiugo-Abanihe revealed this in a statement in Abuja on Sunday, NAN reports.
Isiugo-Abanihe said that the National Common Entrance Exam (NCEE) for the admission of JSS 3 students to technical schools was brought forward from October 3 to September 5.
“While I congratulate the Federal Ministry of Education and all the State Ministries of Education and their stakeholders, for the excellent planning and a smooth resumption of school and exams for the exit classes, I wish, on behalf of my NABTEB Board , provide the following updates on our exams, ”he said.
“A reminder that the NABTEB NBC / NTC exams will soon begin on September 21 and end on October 15, as announced by the Federal Ministry of Education.
“The National Common Entrance Exam (NCEE) for the admission of JSS 3 students to technical universities was held from October 3 to September 5.
“This is due to the convenience of JSS candidates seeking admission to technical colleges that will conclude their BECE exams on Friday, September 4.”
Furthermore, he revealed that with the new date, it would not be necessary for students to return to school on October 3 for another exam.
He added that the deadline for the registration of candidates for the NBC / NTC exams had been extended until September 4, to accommodate applications from several states that had not been able to complete the registration of their students due to the demands derived from the COVID-19 lockdown. .
