Governor Gboyega Oyetola de Osun approved the sum of 121 million naira as death benefits for retirees in the state.

A statement issued by the Head of Service, Dr. Festus Oyebade, said that Oyetola approved N32 million as death benefits for local government retirees, while N89 million was approved for elementary school retirees who died under the old plan. pension.

Oyebade said the gesture was in line with the law governing the old pension plan.

The head of service said that the names of the beneficiaries were on the notice board of the Ministry of Pensions of the Local Government in Osogbo.
