President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the deployment and redeployment of permanent secretaries in the public administration of the Federation.
Dr Folasade Yemi-Esan, Head of the Federation’s Civil Service (HOCSF), made this known in a circular that she signed and issued on Friday in Abuja.
Those affected are Chinyeaka Christian, deployed from the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to the Ministry of Energy as of August 27, and William Alo, reassigned from the Ministry of Labor and Employment to the Ministry of Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs.
Olusade Adesola from the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs to FCT, with effect from August 27, and Esther Jack, from the Ministry of Energy to the Ministry of Water Resources, were also redistributed with effect from September 30.
Similarly, Akpan Sunday was reassigned from the Ministry of Mining and Steel Development to the Ministry of Science and Technology as of September 30, while Ernest Afolabi was reassigned from OHCSF to the Ministry of Works and Housing as of August 27.
Abel Anitan, Federal Public Administration Commission, were also reassigned to the Ministry of the Environment with effect from August 27 and Maurice Mbaeri, Ministry of Police Affairs to the Office of the Secretary of the Government of the Federation (OSGF) with effect from September 30. .
Festus Daudu, Ministry of Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs, was reassigned to OHCSF, effective August 27, while Dr. Magdalene Ajani OHCSF was reassigned to the Ministry of Transportation effective August 27.
Nebalisa Anako will move from the Police Service Commission to the Ministry of Information and Culture, with effect from September 30, Aliyu Ahmed will move from the Ministry of Finance (Special Duties) to the same ministry with effect from September 24 and Temitope Fashedemi, OHCSF to the Ministry of Police Affairs as of September 30.
Those who were recently deployed include Babangida Hussaini, Ministry of Defense with effect from September 23 and Dr. Yerima Peter to the Ministry of Labor and Employment with effect from August 27.
Dr. Bayayo Kumo addresses the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs as of August 27 and Dr. Adaora Anyanwutaku to the Ministry of Women’s Affairs as of September 30.
Other positions are Dr. Anthonia Ekpa at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with effect from September 30, Dr. Oluwatoyin Akinlade at the Ministry of Mines and Steel Development with effect from September 30, Aliyu Mohammed at OSGF , effective September 30 and Dr. Emmanuel Meribola to OHCSF effective September 30.
Monilola Udoh was assigned to the Federal Public Administration Commission effective September 30, Mamman Mahmuda to OHCSF effective August 27, Bashir Alkali to the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, effective September 30, and Dr. Shuaib Belgore to the Ministry of the Interior. with effect from September 30.
Yemi-Esan said the handover and takeover processes must be completed by the indicated effective dates.
