By Shina Abubakar, Osogbo

Suspects in connection with the murder of a 400-level Lagos State University student, Favor Daley-Oladele, were detained at the custody center by an Osun State Superior Court on Friday.

The suspects are the prophet According to Philip, Bola Adeeko and his son, Owolabi Adeeko. The prosecutor of the Ministry of Justice, Kemi Bello, had presented the accusation in court.

The trio were charged with two counts of conspiracy and murder contrary to section 319 and 324 of the laws of the Penal Code, cap 34, laws of the state of Osun.

The indictment was not read to the three defendants and they did not have a lawyer.

The presiding judge, Judge Grace Onibokun, adjourned the matter until March 3 and 10, 2021 for the hearing and ordered that they be transferred to the Correctional Center.

It should be remembered that the Ogun State Police Command arrested the self-proclaimed prophet Philp along with Owolabi for the murder of Daley-Oladele, a senior Sociology student at Lagos State University. After the arrest, Owolabi recounted how he used his girlfriend to prepare a ritual meal for himself and his mother due to his difficult financial situation. “

The deceased left home with an unknown destination since December 8, 2019 and was not seen.

The case was reported to the Mowe Police Station by the deceased parents and the police investigation led to the arrest of Segundo Philip in Ikoyi-Ile, Osun state, where the student was killed by her boyfriend, Owolabi.
