Rack Center is the state-of-the-art Tier III carrier neutral data center based in Lagos offering colocation, content distribution, interconnection and cloud services.
Heficed CEO and Co-Founder Vincentas Grinius said that launching a new server location in Lagos as another location in its global architecture in a leading operatorless data center is essential to ensure high-quality performance and value for the main business areas in Africa and around the world.
Grinius said there is huge demand potential in Nigeria for the type of services they provide.
He pointed out that with the highest gross domestic product, Africa’s GDP, accelerated broadband penetration, young population and 45 million small and medium-sized enterprises, SMEs, a comprehensive infrastructure platform that enables growing businesses Effortlessly scale across a platform to meet Compliance, security concerns, the need for digital transformation, and achieve business efficiency is badly needed.

Rack Center recently booked $ 100 million out of the $ 250 million that Actis, the UK-based equity company that acquired a majority stake in the data center, had allocated to finance its data center in Africa, for an expansion program that will contribute significantly to increasing its capacity and bringing an unprecedented, state-of-the-art data center and the largest and most carrier-neutral data center to West Africa.
