The popular gospel dance club Spirit of David has announced a new project comprising a film and a movement. Titled “Massive: The Movie and Movement,” the project follows the 23-year-old club’s tradition of hosting an annual show that coincides with the anniversary of Nigeria’s independence.

In 2007 and 2009, he wowed hearts with the reality show “Celebrity Takes2”, and in 2015, his stage production “The Butcher and the Bridge” received praise from many for his portrayal of love, hope and triumph.

The Massive project will begin with a movement: the strategic curation of keynote speeches and events that will culminate in the production of “Massive: The Movie,” which will hit screens around the world in spring 2021.

Making the announcement in a virtual conference, the Head of Social Media Campaign for the Club’s Mass Movement, Taiwo Ologun explained the intention of the movement.

“We all have questions about our relevance; We live in a big world and we can feel small and isolated by our experiences. ‘Massive: The Movement’ is a gathering of seekers who share the burden of their experiences in the search for answers through various means that will allow them to mark and connect. “

He added that in the coming months the Club will launch a mass circle movement around the world, a radio station and other safe spaces “where no question will be too big or forbidden.”

Similarly, the club’s show director Tokunbo Demide sheds more light on the film project.

“‘Massive: The Movie’ isn’t just the

100th show, but an artistic adventure filmed in Nigeria with some of the world’s leading producers, writers, choreographers, actors and a host of other featured content professionals. “

He went further to introduce members of the production team which included the director, Adekunle Adejuyigbe; creative consultant, Debo Oluwatominu; the line producer, Tolulope Akintan; and the club’s chief dance instructor, Akinwale Sodade.

Spirit of David Gospel Dance Club is a vision from God to introduce bold and dynamic expressions of worship into and through dance, while redefining dance in our generation.

Since its inception in 1997, the club has produced 99 programs in 11 active branches in Nigeria and others in the UK, North America, Australia and Canada. Your goal is to portray this in your new company.
