Big Brother Naija’s former housemate, and one of Nigeria’s most notable influencers, Natacha Akide, popularly called “Tacha,” no doubt struggled with many people after her disqualification from reality TV show Big Brother Naija from 2019. But for many, the manufacture of the “Tacha” brand has more than meets the eye.

She was disqualified for assaulting her housemate and show winner, Mercy Eke. But instead of receiving violent reactions as a result of his disqualification from the show, the Rivers State reality star received more praise and promises from his fans. And ever since, the queen of the “Titans” has continued to grow by leaps and bounds.

Tacha, as its admirers fondly call it, has become one of the favorite brands of many corporate bodies. In fact, since the end of the BBNaija 2019 reality show, Tacha has been a popular item to capture. In addition to getting some juicy sponsorship deals, ranging from Royal Hair, GetFit Technologies, popular alcoholic brand Ciroc, among others, the controversial reality TV star knows how to do a trick.

After going viral for allegedly faking his proposal and kidnapping, he has gone from one controversy to another. Whether Tacha was attacking a celebrity on social media or caught in one conspiracy or another. The social sensation turned this trick into generating money from advertisers while using his Instagram page to display eye-catching half-naked photos. Most of the videos on their IG page showed the influencer selling one body product or another. However, it was not surprising to his more than four million followers on social media on Wednesday, when he launched his own clothing line “NLNT” on Instagram.

The name NLNT means “without permission, without transfer”, which she popularized during her stay at the BBNaija house in 2019. She had also done about N7. 5 million in 2 hours after selling your own brand of power bank “power Tacha”.

One of the craziest things Tacha did that his fans have kept talking about to date was tattooing Davido on his body. She said she has fallen in love with the music superstar since she heard the song “Dami Duro” in 2011, and has not stopped loving the singer since. On why the tattoo was done, Tacha said she was absolutely in love and obsessed with Davido. “I got the tattoo because it is the only way I can show my love”

According to her, she made her first million naira from “Instagram”. Tacha’s fame and brand are believed to have surpassed that of the show’s winner and rival Mercy, who manages to stay in the spotlight. Last week, it hit the top 15 trends in the world, while also trending under three separate hashtags in Nigeria, all of which were the top 20, including a number one trend after the big reveal it had been hinting at during days.

But beyond all this, Tacha believed that her self-confidence was responsible for the great strides she had made in the country’s entertainment industry in the past year.

Sharing her experience on the latest episode of ‘#WithChude’ recently, the Instagram sensation traced the origin of her controversial nature.

She said that, since childhood, she had always met in places where there were cliques that had never been invited. “Since childhood, I had always been in places where there were cliques to which I was never invited. My mother made it her mission to help me stop wanting to feel accepted by other people and agree to be alone. She taught me how to let my happiness come from within, “he said.

Tacha, who lost her mother at age 18, also spoke about how she handled her mother’s loss and the pain that followed. “I still have to speak honestly, I wish she was here to see the trust she had helped build in me. Every time I thought about it, I would say a prayer or allow myself to feel the pain, and then I kept going. ”

Meanwhile, until her disqualification, Tacha was the most controversial of all the housemates in the 2019 season of Big Brother Naija. It was her greatest wish to smile home with the grand prize. But unfortunately, his weakness as a human being worked against him and cut what should have been a grand finale, with or without the prize. Even with housemate BBNaija’s ongoing reunion schedule, Tacha has become the curiosity of all eyes. He started by promising his enthusiastic fans a surprise when he tweeted that he had something in store for them. Thereafter, the reunion show became Tacha’s show since she has been dominating the space.
