Mrs. Ayebaekipreye Ebinyefa, mother of the Siamese separated during the 4-hour operation carried out on January 2 at the Federal Medical Center, Adamawa arrived on Saturday in Yenagoa, in the state capital of Bayelsa, declaring that the successful separation of the Siamese He has saved her. of being ridiculed and labeled a witch by her people in the Nembe area of the state.

Ebinyefa, who arrived at Bayelsa Airport aboard a Nigerian Air Force plane, accompanied by her husband and healthy-looking children, said that successful surgery and her twin’s survival will save her from ridicule and evil. of being labeled a witch, saying: “I am happy for the success of the operation. As you can see, they are kicking and happy. “

She said that while the operation lasted, she was scared and prayed for its success, “before going to the operation in Yola, I received insults and they labeled me a witch. Some said that the children came out together because of my stubbornness and my ability for witchcraft. While the operation was being performed, I prayed reverently that I cannot receive such wicked names and lose the children. I turned the operation over to God and it saved me from the evil blushes of my people.

“I had faith in God and I told him to take control. I want to thank our benefactor, Gabriel Jonah. He was the envoy of God who was used to save me from death. Because without their intervention during the birth of the babies, they would have killed us. He took us from Nembe to Yenagoa and finally connected everyone involved with this success. In the last eight months, he has fed and cared for us up to this point, ”said the euphoric mother.

Commenting on the drama at Bayelsa Airport, where the state’s Lieutenant Governor Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo appeared with a crowd of government officials to greet them, the father of the separated twins, Ayebaikemi Ralph, expressed shock at the action of the State government officials, insisting that state government officials did not participate in the operations that led to the twins’ survival, “I was shocked and surprised when I saw them at the airport to greet us.”

He explained that the well-being of his family and that of his separated twins was financed by a Chief of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the State, Chief Gabriel Jonah, “after the birth of the conjoined twins on December 12, 2020., no one came to our rescue, not even the state government. But Chief Jonah stepped in and was ready to sponsor our overseas medical trip, but FMC Adamawa stepped in and did a good job.

“We want to apologize to Chief Jonah for the open display of the Lieutenant Governor of State and his team. My family and I would never forget everything Chief Jonah did for the survival of my twins. He saved us as a family. “

It should be remembered that Baby Grace and her sister, Mercy, were born together on December 12 of last year at Nembe General Hospital and the Siamese twins were flown to FMC, Yola, Adamawa State for surgery.
