Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has delivered his verdict on two missed ‘stone’ penalties to Cristiano Ronaldo during his side’s 2-1 Premier League win against West Ham on Sunday.

Two goals from Ronaldo and Jesse Lingard earned Man United all three points against the Hammers at London Stadium.

Man United goalkeeper David de Gea also saved Mark Noble’s penalty in the 95th minute during the match.

But Solskjaer feels Red Devils United should have had two penalties of their own, both for fouls on Ronaldo.

“Two [penalties United should have been awarded] first and last, ”Solskjaer told Sky Sports.

“I think they are a stone wall, you can’t even argue with them. I think the first the kid raises his leg, Cristiano runs straight and is missing.

“The last one, Paul had a foul against Kurt Zouma that went over him. “So why is Cristiano’s third appeal not a penalty?

“Hopefully, Cristiano will never receive a penalty.”
