Biography
The actor was born near the town of Echuca in the Australian state of Victoria. Chris and Jennie Fimmel have three children, and he is the youngest of the three. It was his father who worked as a cattle farmer. His mother was employed as a recreation officer for people with disabilities. His parents taught him and his brothers to have confidence in themselves, but not to think of themselves as exceptional in any way. In his idyllic childhood, he grew up on a 2000-hectare farm where he spent his weekends fishing and riding his trail bike around the property. Fimmel relocated to Melbourne to play for the St Kilda Football Club in the Australian Football League, but he was forced to miss the start of the season due to a broken leg.
