Why do I hide the faces of my children


Nollywood actress Funke Akindele-Bello has revealed why she keeps her children’s faces out of the public eye.

The 45-year-old actress was previously married to Adeola Kehinde but they divorced in July 2013 due to irreconcilable differences.

However, she is currently married to Nigerian rapper JJC Skillz. In December 2018, the union was blessed with twins.

Ms. Akindele-Bello has a strong social media presence as her fans stay on top of trending updates on the actress’s personal life. Although she has a habit of posting personal content and behind-the-scenes pictures of her life, her fans are eager to see something they haven’t seen yet: the faces of her children.

During an interview with TVCMs Akindele-Bello explained the reasons behind her decision not to show her children’s faces to her fans, saying:

“Do I keep my family private? Ah ah, you see my house. Can’t you see my house? Don’t you know my husband? Don’t you see the back of my children? How is that private? oh oh He is not private oh, he sees everything.

“Okay, the kids face, is that what you’re trying to say? No. When they are old enough, they should show their face. If they want, they must show their faces. But for now, I don’t want them to show their faces. I want them to have their life and enjoy it. Her dad and I are already in the public eye. They are children, do not forget. They are children. They’re vulnerable, so you have to keep them away, keep them safe. That they go to school, that they enjoy their life without “Ah! That is Jenifa’s son. That’s JJC’s son. Ah, he looks at his leg, he looks at his face.” Keep them private!”

Three things you didn’t know about Funke Akindele-Bello

In addition to the identity of her children, the actress also revealed three things that fans might not know.

She said, “Three things my fans don’t know about me? I don’t like to go out. I love my space. I love working, so if I’m not working, I’m sleeping, I’m watching TV series, I’m playing with my kids, chatting with the family. I’m not really an outgoing person, but from time to time I try to go out.

Ms. Akindele-Bello, who is also a lawyer, is one of the most successful Nollywood actresses of contemporary times. She starred in the sitcom ‘I Need to Know’ from 1998 to 2002. However, she rose to fame for her role in the movie titled Jenifa, which earned her the nickname Jenifa.

He has had hit series like Jenifa’s Diary, My Siblings and I, Aiyetoro Town, and hit movies like the record-breaking Omo Ghetto: The Saga, all coming from his production company, Scene one Productions.
