Abdulsalam Quadri Opeyemi, a pilot known professionally as Blinjoe, has said that resilience is a key characteristic of any aspiring pilot, as training and practicing the job requires patience, thoroughness and dedication.
Born on June 6, 1989, Opeyemi hails from the state of Kwara and is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates; he is a full-stack pilot and engineer.
He began his education at Dayspring School, moving on to Ojoku Grammar School, Offa, both in Kwara State, before earning a national diploma in computer engineering from Ilorin University, Ilorin, Kwara State.
Son of Abdulsalam Moshood and Abdulsalam Taiwo as the first of five children, he has always wanted to be a doctor.
However, his love for piloting and engineering was more intense.
