Yusuf Maitama Sule University, Kano has set April 12 and 13 as the dates for its Postunified Tertiary Enrollment Exam (Post UTME) for the 2020/2021 admissions exercise.
Abdullahi Abba, Head of the University’s Information, Publications, Protocol and Public Relations Unit, announced this in a statement issued on Wednesday in Kano.
He said that the selection of applicants for Direct Entry (DE) would take place on Wednesday, April 14 in various faculties of the University.
Abba said that only candidates who had chosen the university as their first choice and were fully registered on the university’s portal for the 2020/2021 admissions exercise were eligible to participate in the selection exercise.
“The exercise will take place on the main campus of the university. The exercise is for admission to the university’s undergraduate programs for the 2020/2021 academic session.
“Candidates who made Yusuf Maitama Sule University, Kano as their first choice and successfully registered for the Post UTME exercise will be eligible for the exam.
“Candidates who have registered for the Post UTME are requested to visit the University website www.yumsuk.edu.ng to reprint the proof of recognition that will indicate the date, time and place of the test , as well as the seat number.
“The information will be communicated to the candidates through the phone numbers or email addresses used in the JAMB registration,” he said.
Abba said that candidates who do not participate in the Post UTME exercise will not be considered for admission.
He said the exercise would be conducted under strict compliance with COVID-19 protocols.
