Veteran actor and lawyer Kenneth Okonkwo has declared that the Congress of all progressives (APC) will face his “final fall” before the 2027 elections.

He made the statement during the recent coalition strategy meeting that saw the formal adoption of ADC as the new part of the bride to stop the offer of President Bola Tinubu's second mandate.

According to him, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and its new coalition of opposition forces represent the “dawn of a new era in Nigeria's political history.”

The ADC, said Okonkwo, is a “group of light” prepared to rescue the Nigerians from the “darkness of this incompetent and corrupt APC.”

“When the light shines in the dark, the darkness disappears. APC will not understand what hits them,” Okonkwo said.

Okonkwo emphasized that the new alignment prioritizes the welfare of Nigerians on the search for power.

“You know, this party is not about power. This party is the welfare of the Nigerians.

“If there is no new agreement that is sure that it will be in charge of the welfare of the Nigerians, I will stay in my house and pray,” he said.

He also expressed his commitment to the coalition policy, saying that he will work with who emerges as a presidential candidate.

“This is now the moment of the coalition, not the individual parties. I can guarantee that anyone who emerges from this coalition will work with the person,” Okonkwo said.

Okonkwo dismissed concerns about potential infiltration by APC elements, warning that any infiltrate would be treated as spies. “Of course, when you are in a battle with someone, you send your own spies. We will look for any infiltrate and give it the treatment given to the spies,” he warned.

Predict the collapse of APC structures, citing recent political crises within the ruling party.

“In a short time, the people of APC will hide because the shame that will come over them, cannot even talk and talk to the Nigerians again,” Okonkwo concluded.
