Paris Saint-Germain’s manager, Luis Enrique, talked about their 2-0 loss at Arsenal in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka scored the two goals in the first half at the Emirates Stadium.

After the game, Enrique spoke to Amazon Prime. He said he felt “sad” and mentioned that his players lost many battles on the field.

He said: “I am sad. We couldn’t compete like they did, and they deserved to win the match.

“They scored two goals and then defended very strongly. They deserved the victory.

“I know how intense their team is, how they play with and without the ball, and they are at a very high level. No doubt, they are a top team. We knew how good they are.”

About the second goal from a free kick, Enrique said: “These things happen in football.

“We have to accept that we were losing many battles against a team like Arsenal. They are very aggressive in their pressure. If you don’t win the battles, you suffer. We will go home and think about the next match.”
