A Charity organization based in Bauchi, 'Wunti Al-Khair Foundation', has embarked on the distribution of rice to the less privileged Muslim communities in the 20 local governments of the state of Bauchi.
Our correspondent informs that the distribution of Ramadan's support is being carried out in phases after its beginning with the beneficiaries of the areas of the local government of Katumm, Zaki, Ramawa and Giade.
The organization's program manager, Mustapha Anmo, explained that the gesture aims to reach 250 beneficiaries in each of the 20 local governments, carefully selected from vulnerable residents, people with disabilities and other needy groups.
He explained that the initiative is designed to provide very necessary relief to the less fortunate, especially during this month of fasting from Ramadan.
Also speaking, an official of the Foundation, Isiyaka Wunti, said that, in addition to the food distribution of Ramadan, the Wunti Al-Khair Foundation is dedicated to several other beneficial activities, including providing free medical dissemination programs and educational scholarships for disadvantaged members of society.
The beneficiaries of the program have expressed their gratitude to the Foundation.
Auwalu Buna's bullet in the local government of Tafawa Balewa said that assistance had brought her family joy, while Larai Haruna, another beneficiary, revealed that she had no rice to cook before the generous donation of the Foundation.
The beneficiaries said in various ways that the selfless efforts of the Wunti Al-Khair Foundation have brought smiles to the faces of many families in the state of Bauchi, demonstrating the true spirit of compassion and generosity that defines the sacred month of Ramadan.
