The United Kingdom closes the cryptographic firm after global complaints

A cryptoSet firm registered in the United Kingdom, BTCmining Limited, has been closed after an investigation into world fraud complaints and financial behavior.

However, action fraud received complaints from victims in Estonia, Mauritania, Iran, New Zealand, Poland and Romania, claiming that they never received any mining service and were submitted to repeated demands of additional payments.

According to the statement, an additional investigation revealed that BTCmining Limited did not have a legitimate registered address in the United Kingdom.

“The websites associated with the company were inactive or did not provide valid contact information. Attempts to communicate with the company through known electronic emails and telephone numbers were not successful.”

The company was officially closed by the Superior Court of Manchester on April 28, 2025, after the United Kingdom's insolvency service presented its findings.

“The fact that BTCmining Limited was to attract customers worldwide makes our intervention particularly important,” said David Usher, head researcher of the insolvency service.

“We act on complaints before their reach could have affected innumerable more people. It is vital that the public, both here in the United Kingdom and abroad, are protected from the companies that act in this way.”

The only director of BTCmining Limited, Stibich Martins Yhaicha Luzia, a 25 -year -old who believes he is from Germany, did not cooperate with the investigation. The company joined in January 2024, with its registration rate paid from an account with China.

“The records in Companies House listed a residential direction such as the company's contact location. Current residents denied any affiliation with BTCmining Limited and said they had not authorized the use of their address.”

“While six official complaints were filed with action fraud, equivalent to losses of more than £ 15,000, researchers suspect that the real number of total victims and losses could be significantly higher.

The authorities emphasized that BTCmining Limited is not connected to any other business with a similar negotiation name or style.
