On Tuesday there was a serious stagnation on the Ibadan-Lagos highway, which turned out that the travelers walked long distances and transporters who regretted the loss of several hours.
It was said that the stagnation had emerged from the current rehabilitation of bad portions of the road in the village Guru Maharaj-Ji and other areas.
The vehicular movement was restricted to a single lane on the road, while travelers were forced to walk long distances.
Some of the affected motorists affirmed that they had been in the same place for about four hours, blaming the stagnation of the insensitivity of the construction giant, RCC, to the opportunities of the road users.
“This path has been like that for months. Why are they now thinking of fixing it? With a few days for the celebration of Salah, they should have known that the volume of traffic will be higher,” complained an anguished motorist.
