The owner of Tesla, Elon Musk, lost $ 34 billion of his net assets on Thursday, after a heated exchange with the president of the United States, Donald Trump for political disagreements.
According to the figures published on Friday by the Bloomberg billionaire index, the fall is among the losses of a single major day ever registered for an individual.
This occurred following Musk's criticism to the last bill of the president's expenses, described by Trump as a “great project of beautiful law”, as well as the new tariffs, which Musk warned that he could trigger a recession at the end of this year.
Trump responded by accusing Musk of being disliked by the elimination of fiscal loans from electric vehicles, a movement that directly affects Tesla buyers.

He also withdrew the nomination of Musk Jared Isaacman's ally to lead NASA and threatened to cut federal contracts with Musk companies, including Spacex, which currently has government agreements worth tens of billions of dollars.
Musk responded challenging, publishing: “Go ahead, he accompanied me.” In an additional movement, he announced plans to dismantle the Dragon spacecraft operated by Spacex.
In development reaction, the White House Secretary, Karoline Leavitt said: “This is an unfortunate episode of Elon, who is not happy with the only Big Beautiful bill because it does not include the policies he wanted. The president focuses on approved this historical legislation and make our country great again.”
The row sent the shares of Tesla to more than 14 percent, eliminating around $ 138 billion in market value. Musk's personal participation represented $ 34 billion of that loss.
