The former Transport Minister, Prince Adegoroye, has accused Christian leaders to encourage their faithful to actively participate and involve themselves in politics to take the front seat effectively in the construction of the nation.
Adegoroye said that only when they participate in politics can use their positions, chosen or designated to provide the expected type of leadership of a good disciple of Jesus.

The former minister who declared this when heading to the harvest of the Anglican Church of the Resurrection, 1004 Estate, Victoria Island, Lagos, said that Christians in politics and governance must strive to make a significant difference, and by winning more souls for Christ.
Adegoroye, who was the special guest of honor and was also honored with the “excellent leadership prize” also charged Christians to be honest and focused when they were chosen or named in leadership roles.
He said that Christians cannot change anything if they are not part of a system, urging them to actively participate in the construction of the nation, emulating Christ.
According to him, the only way to effect effectively the current challenges is through the preparation of Christians to join political parties, including ruling parties.
He appreciated the former vice -governor of the state of Lagos and special senior assistant of the president in SDG, Princess Adejoke Ollope Adefulire, her husband, the high boss Abiodun Adefulire and the Church under the leadership of Arch Diácono of the Victoria Island, venerable Tunde Oluwole for the honor of nominating him for the award.
She praised Adefulire for her good works and the love she gives to the people of her husband in the state of Ondo, noting that her character had caught her so much.
Adegoroye, who is the registrar of the Anglican diocese of Akure, prayed for God to continue blessing and maintaining it and using it more for his work.
Other honest include the IMO governors and the states of Ebonyi and the vice president of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu.
