The Igbo Apex social and cultural organization, Ohanaze Ndigbo Worldwide, has opened a review committee of the Constitution of 18 men.
In a statement issued in Owerri on Monday by the National Advertising Secretary, Ezechi Chukwu said the 2025 Committee will be chaired by Chief Anthony Idigbe San.
Other members are Professor Chinwe Obaji, former Minister of Education, Professor Fabian Onah, Professor Nnamani Ogbu, Gloria Okudo AIG (RTRD) and Hery Akunebu San.

Others are the chief Dili Biosah, Anozie Obi Mni, Chief Ray Nkemdirim, the Honorable CJ Okori-Akirika, Dr. Dozie Nwosu, Dr. Boniface Chima, Chief David Nwachukwu, Mr. Calistus Ekenze, Ndubuisi Aguagua, John Okolie, Okegu Oganga and Chizoba IHAKA.
When heading to the committee shortly after its inauguration, the general president of Ohanaze, Senator Azuta Mbata, declared the importance of an effective constitution as a necessary guide for the optimal administration of the IGBO body.
He observed the resolution of his administration to strengthen the Constitution to improve transparency, credibility, trust, strong base participation/membership, unity and general welfare of NDIGBB, regardless of the location.
He accused the committee to consider as primary, the unit and the common good of the IGBO nation, in the performance of his duty.
The Committee lasts one month to present its provisional report before the presentation to IMEOBI.
In his response, the president of the head of the Constitution Committee of 2025, Idigbe, thanked Ohanaze and the general president in particular for considering that his team worthy of this onerous task.
He assured the general president that his team would do his best and give Ohanae the Constitution it deserves.
