The Tinubu Assistant, others lead the conversation about gas investment in Lagos

Wole Ogunsanya, president of the Nigeria Petroleum Technology Association (PETAN), has been confirmed among the first high profile speakers for the 2025 edition of the Gas Inversion Forum (GIF).

Other prominent voices will be joined in the energy industry, including Andrea Stegher, president of the International Gas Union (IGU); Dr. David Oluseyi IGE, non -executive director of NNPC Limited and CEO of Gasinvest Ltd; Dr. Abiodun Ogunjobi, technical director of the Panocean Newcross Group group; Eyono Fatayi-Williams, president of women in network energy; Damilola Owolabi-Osinusi, CEO of Selai Gas Station Ltd; OGA ADEJO-GIRI, Executive Secretary of the Association of Local Gas Distributors (ALDG); and others.

GIF 2025 is scheduled for October at the Oriental Hotel, Lagos, under the subject: “Recording new investment, growth and industrialization opportunities.”

According to the director of the event, Osaze issele, the forum has become a central platform for the strategic dialogue around the Nigeria gas monetization agenda and the industrialization efforts driven by energy.

He pointed out that the event is supported by the Federal Ministry of Petroleum Resources and organized by the UPSTREAM Nigeria Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC), providing a reliable meeting point for both the political leaders and for the interested parties of the private sector that sail through the “decade” of the country.

Mrs. Olubukola Arowolo Verheijen will serve as the main host and will deliver the opening speech. His leadership in the president’s special advisor office on energy (OSAE) has been fundamental to boost the transformative reforms in the Nigeria oil, gas and energy sectors, aligned with the renewed hope of the hope of President Tinubu.

The organizers stressed that GIF 2025 will provide a high -level platform for government leaders, global investors and indigenous energy actors to explore investment opportunities, collaboration and innovation in the Nigeria gasoline sector.

In addition, they emphasized that the forum offers incomparable opportunities for the creation of intersectoral networks, strategic investment and public-private collaboration, in line with the ambition of Western Africa to take advantage of natural gas for sustainable development, energy security and regional integration.
