The president of the State of Zamfara of the Congress of all progressives, Alhaji Tukur Umar Danfulani, has dedicated the victory of the party in the recent goodbye elections to the resistance of the electorate and the followers, saying that the APC will surely claim its mandate in the state by 2027.
He made the statement on Friday night while heading to journalists about the result of the newly completed Kamoda South House of Assembly Bye-Electtion, where the APC candidate emerged winner.
According to Danfulani, Zamfara was originally an APC fortress before he was “stolen by the PDP” in the 2023 general elections, which he described as Allah’s will.

“We deeply appreciate the resilience of the electorate that remained firm to ensure that APC remains its party in the newly completed Kaura Namoda South Bye.
“We assure you that by 2027, the party (APC) will claim its mandate in the state,” he said.
He also praised security agencies for providing adequate protection for lives and property during the choice of goodbye.
Danfulani also expressed his gratitude to APC leaders in the State for their commitment to the progress of the people and the development of the party.
“We sincerely appreciate their excellencies, Former Governments, Senator Abdulaziz Yari, The Honourable Minister of State For Defense, Dr. Bello Mohammed Matawalle, Rep. Abdulmalik Zubairu Bungudu, rep. Suleiman Abubakar Gummi, Hon. Yazid Danfulani, Senator Tijjani Kaura, and Senator Sahabi Ya’u, Among Others, For Their Continuous support and assistance to the people and supporters of the party in the state, ”he added.
