The designated one of Olubadan, Oba Rasidi Amaja, has declared that he would be a satisfied monarch, if the state of Ibadan is agitated is updated during his reign.
Oba Laraja announced this while receiving the Governor of the State of Osun, Senator Adela Adelev on a courtesy visit at her Bodija residence on Tuesday.
He presented the creation of the state of Ibadan as agitated by which he would make him a man satisfied in life
Amaja said: “Apart from achieving other things in life, what I have left is the update of the state of Ibadan.
“I want this to happen during my reign as the 44 Olubadan de Ibadanland.
“The creation of the state of Ibadan is more delayed. Ibadan with eleven areas of the local government is large enough for a state.
“Relevant interested parties and interest groups are working for update.
Previously in his speech, Senator Adeke had congratulated Oba Laraja for his nomination and approval of Governor Makinde as the 44th Olubadan de Ibadanland.
He described the monarch as a man of destiny, pointing out what has happened in life.
He said: “His resistance and approach to life are responsible for his achievements in life.
“Once, you had served as governor, a senator now appointed Olubadan.
“You have resisted many storms. You have left everyone without being injured. That shows resistance.
