The president of the United States, Donald Trump, will make an announcement this afternoon, his first public comments in a week, about the Department of Defense, according to the White House.
Development occurs when legislators return to Capitol Hill facing hot battles on government financing, Jeffrey Epstein’s archives and Trump’s police agenda.
Trump’s announcement is scheduled for 2 PM et on Tuesday.
The White House Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, told CNN: “The president will make an exciting announcement related to the Department of Defense.”

The last time Trump spoke publicly was last Tuesday, during a three -hour cabinet meeting. Since then, he has remained out of the public eye, although he has been active in Truth Social and has spent the holiday weekend playing golf in his Virginia club.
Today’s event will be the first opportunity in a week for journalists to question the president directly.
This occurs a few days after ‘Trump is dead’ in X, and many question the whereabouts of one of the world’s most powerful leaders.
