Labor Party to Tinubu: The Nigerians cannot afford the nomadic president

The Labor Party (LP) has attacked President Bola Tinubu for his frequent foreign trips, saying that Nigerians would prefer to remain at home to address pressing governance problems.

Tinubu, had left the United Kingdom on Thursday on a 10 -day vacation trip that would also spend part of his time in France.

However, reacting in a statement published on Saturday by its Secretary of National Interim Advertising, Mr. Tony Akeni said that “Tinubu should end their nomadic vacations and give the Nigerians a real governance.”

The party said that Tinubu left 135 million citizens in Nigeria who, he said, were thrown into extreme poverty for their 18 -month administration.

“While President Tinubu arrives at heaven, he leaves a country devastated by economic difficulties where 135 million citizens fell into poverty in the first 18 months of his administration, caused by his difficult economic policies.

“Tinubu also leaves the insecurity of the historical proportions where 57 Nigerians die every day of several forms of violent death. This is equivalent to seven deaths rather than the losses of war in Ukraine, which lose 50 citizens per day in their large -scale war with Russia, according to mediazone investigations and the Memory Group book, corroborated by a similar study of BBC.

“Nigerian victims figures exclude deaths from daily traffic accidents, frequent mishaps of Nigeria boats and other civil risks,” said the LP.

When asking the government to build well -equipped health centers in Nigeria, the LP said that the Nigerians could no longer accommodate the leaders “at home (AHA) nomads.”

The party continued: “They will remember that President Tinubu had only sat in office for four months after his oath on May 29, 2023, when he flew abroad in his first annual vacations. This was October 2, 2023.

“This means that, under the APC government manual, four months invented a year for the Nigerian President to go on annual vacations. This is historical for a post-infural president because it does not happen anywhere else in the world.

“Since he assumed the position on May 29, 2023, President Tinubu has traveled and practically lived ‘out of Nigeria for almost 160 days. This is almost half of a whole year in just two years of charge.

“Tracking this unproductive trend upside down until the days of Buhari, the records show that APC produces dinner and tooth -to -strain presidents that have breakfast, have lunch in Paris and fuck in London. They enjoy expensive vacations abroad like children enjoy excursions to amusement parks.

“From the administration of Buhari to the current rule of Tinubu, that is the only reason why billions of Naira vote every year for the ASO Villa Presidential Clinic, perpetually empty in unknown pockets and the clinic medicine shelves do not have medications for even cramps.

“Nigeria today can no longer afford nomadic leaders in the home (AHA) who have deliberately failed to build international health facilities in their own country, but travel abroad for extended expensive periods, leaving their trapped and defenseless citizens in the country citizens of our country.

“From the deceased Buhari to Tinubu, APC has continued to produce nomadic presidents whose medical and social tourism cost our country billions of Naira in the taxpayers money.

“The Nigerians must ensure that the AHA presidents syndrome ends in 2027 at the end of the APC series of our country and opt for a political party and president that will prioritize the construction for the global standard health centers of the Nigerians equipped in a supremely equipped manner to treat citizens and presidents of other countries No. 1, which will save and also obtain important revenue for the country.

“That is one of the promises and dividends of true democracy that the Labor Party represents and will reach the Nigerians.”
