… As interested parties gather before 2026
Governor Adela Adelek has resolved the recent family differences within the Federal Circumscription of IFE of the Democratic Party (PDP) of the ruling peoples, accusing all those interested to be careful with the division agents designed by the opposition.
This was revealed in a statement signed by Mallam Olawale Rasheed, spokesman for Governor Adeke.
According to the statement, at a high -power reconciliation meeting attended by the Vice Governor, Prince Kola Adewusi; Leader of the Deputy Senate Minority, Senator Lere Oyewumi; State president of the party, Hon Sunday Bisi; Secretary of the State Government, Honor Igbalaye; Chief of Cabinet of the Governor, Hon Kazeem Akinleye; President of the Commissioner Forum, Alhaji Ganiyu Olaoluwa, and other unconditional party, the family dispute declared completely resolved with a common resolution to forget and forgive for victory next year.
Governor Adeke, rounding the meeting, described the recent disagreement as a product of a communication gap and deliberate efforts of some external forces to sow seeds of discord within the party, praising the leaders for their opening and brotherhood.
“Throughout this meeting today, I see Ile IFE PDP very close. I listen to all the leaders here, and I clearly see a communication gap between the leaders. There is also a strong sign of an external plot to divide the PDP IFE.
“Now that we have seen the roots of the matter, I charge myself to return to work. Our administration has done a lot for Ifland, and we are still going to do more.
“Ile IFE is a PDP territory. It returns and holds the rhythm. Praise the elderly and leaders, the senatorial leader, the presidents of the local party, the elected presidents of the party, the heads and operators of the party. Return and continue working for the victory of the party,” the governor told the heads of the party.
Previously, the president of the party, Hon onyy Bisi, described the incident that led to a vote of No confidence as a family issue, adding that “all parties have demonstrated a true love for the party.
“We are happy that all the problems have been solved. It is the resolution of this meeting that all legal meetings for the mobilization of the party should meet again and all the members of the party should decisively disapprove of any act capable of misinterpretation as an antipartisan activity,” the party president told the meeting.
