The Congress of all progressives (APC) in the state of Lagos has said that the State is not a laboratory for series deserters and confused apprentices.
The party also educated the 2023 Government candidate of the Labor Party (LP), Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour (GRV), who had recently left the LP for the African Democratic Congress (ADC), in the Government, saying that it is a serious business, not a television program where you can change each season.
The party spokesman Mogaji Seye Oladejo, in a statement on Tuesday, described the dropout as a desperate hustle of a man who has made political prostitution his professional career.
He said: “With this movement, the party emphasized that Rhodes-Vivour is not building a political career; he is in a search for political scavenger.
“It has jumped more parties than a restless frog jumping from one lily to another, pointing out that with each movement, he left behind chaos, betrayal and laughter for people who see through their farce.
“From its forgettable beginnings in the dark Kowa party, to its brief PDP romance, until its opportunistic kidnapping of the Labor Party ticket in 2023, and now to ADC, Rhodes-Vivour has jumped more parties than a restless frog that jumps from one PAD of Lirio to another.
“It is forever in search of the next platform to abuse and leave, the next slogan to look, and the next crowd to deceive. Its policy has no ideology, no direction and certainly not loyalty, only the blind search for personal ambition.
“This is the same individual who confessed, ‘I don’t believe in Yoruba’. It is not surprising that I can’t think of politics.
“The Labor Party, who now cries that his departure was” hurried “should be the last to complain. What else expects a man whose only political strategy is to hurry to jump the ship, hurry to cut the corners, hurry to claim what he has not worked?”
“The Labor Party does not need to cry for a candidate who arrived in a night bus, snatched his governor ticket and left before dawn. However, we emphasized if the party feels used, raped and abandoned.
“The question that should be asked is, how will the Lagosians risk their mandate with a young man whose only statement of political experience is to cross four different political parties in a short political career but without incident?
“He must tell him that a rolling stone does not gather Moss. However, he seems to have learned from the best during his last stay.
“Rhodes-Vivour will do well to hurry to pay the rented crowd for its last exit that protest on several social networks platforms on the failed promise of service provided.”
