The National Library and Executive Director of the National Library of Nigeria, Professor Chinwe Anunobi, has reaffirmed the commitment to the livelihood of the digital transformation in the course of the National Library.
Anunobi spoke on Monday during an interactive session with the organization’s staff to commemorate his fourth anniversary in office.
He pointed out that the digital transformation, including the development of the National Virtual Library, Nigeria National Repository, among others, saying that these reforms have begun to produce innumerable success stories.

The National Library also presented key initiatives for next year, including the digitalization of Nigeria’s cultural and historical heritage and the delivery of avant -garde educational tools, expanding digital access through a robust virtual platform, promoting narratives, creativity and literacy through national and regional programs.
Professor Anunobi expressed optimism for the early completion of the permanent headquarters, the improvement in budgetary assignments, the delivery of an operational bus, the expansion of the directives to improve the productivity and the next launch of the National Fund of the National Library of Nigeria.
The presentation of the National Library was followed by a question and answers session during which he answered all the questions that the staff asked.
