The United Nations Fund for the Nation (UNICEF) has promised its continuous support and association to update some programs of the renewed hope agenda of President Bola Tinubu.
This is just when Vice President Kashim Shettima has described the movement as a step in the right direction, noting that President Tinubu has redefined the concept of modern leadership in Nigeria.
Senior Assistant of the President of Media and Communications, office of the Vice President of Stanley Nkwocha, in a statement, said that the vice president spoke on Wednesday, when he received a delegation from UNICEF Nigeria led by the country’s representative, Mrs. Wafaa Saeed Abdelalatef, on a visit to the courtesy of the presidential village, Abuja.
Shettima said the country is blessed with a dedicated and committed leader in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
When commenting on the vigor of the administration in the search for inherited projects in health, nutrition, human capital development and related fields, Vice President Shettima said that the Government is committed to working with UNICEF and other development partners to advance some of the “Laable Initiatives” of the Federal Government, such as Nutritional Initiative 774, economic and financial inclusion and the Nutrition Intervention Fund, among others.
He pointed out that the president is determined to invest in young people and in the general transformation of the education sector, noting that in UNICEF, Nigeria has a decent partner in progress to update his objectives.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a man of courage and conviction, and is doing everything possible to redefine the concept of modern leadership in Nigeria.
“We are at the cusp of regenerating our economy and rebuilding this nation. The profits of our reforms are manifested day by day, the inflationary trend is in decline and by the end of the year, the economy will stabilize even more so that everyone sees it,” said the vice president.
Although he acknowledged the relationship between Nigeria and Unicef ​​over the years, the vice president said: “We have worked with his colleagues in different programs throughout the country in the past and I think his arrival will bring on board a new experience, exhibition and the ability of his additional value to what we are doing.”
Previously, the representative of the UNICEF country, Mrs. Abdelalatef, recognized the dedicated leadership of Vice President Shettima, the strong voice and the willingness to support the humanitarian causes in Nigeria and beyond, describing it as a global citizen. “
She assured the Vice President of the implacable commitment and alignment of UNICEF with the priorities of the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, particularly her programs on nutrition, human capital development and education of the girl, among others.
The representative of the UNICEF country praised some of the administration’s interventions, such as the Nutrition 774 initiative, the Nutritional Intervention Fund and the Nutrition Law draft, pointing out that the vision of the Government is clear and that the mission is realizable.
