Ambient Sukubo Sara-Igbe Sukubo, of Rivers, South-South Nigeria, has been re-elected as president of the National Council of Youth of Nigeria (NYCN) for a second four-year term.
Sukubo achieved a resounding victory in the highly competitive elective congress of the National Unit of New York, held from Monday to Tuesday in Yenagoa, the capital of Bayelsa.
The officer who returned from the National Elective Congress of New York, Dr. Bethel Oko-Jaja, declared that Sukubo obtained 756 votes to defeat his closest rival, Elizabeth Olawande del Southwest, who surveyed 32 votes and another opponent Usaini Mohammad Kaoje of El Norte de la Nortete, who solved 11 votes.

In his acceptance speech, Sukubo promised to redouble his efforts in his second term, intensifying his commitment to the development and empowerment initiatives of young people, and undertake even more shocking projects for the improvement of the vibrant and vibrant youth constituency of Nigeria.
