The Minister of Works, David Umahi, has expressed a strong support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu before the general elections of 2027, stating that the people of Ebonyi and Southeast have benefited significantly from the projects and leadership of the president.
In a viral video In social networks, Umahi ruled out the presence of the obidant movement in Ebonyi, insisting that residents should remember Tinubu’s contributions to both the State and the region.
He described the last elections as an error that would not be repeated, noting that the projects and equity efforts of the president of the president have joined and elevated to the southeast.
“There is not an obvious person in the state of Ebonyi. What we have is to remember the good things that President Bola Tinubu has done in southeast and by the state of Ebonyi when the time comes.
“We will not be deceived again. Because the last election was a mistake, but we have become wider. We will not end up naming everything the president is doing for us, but the inherited projects are seen.”
Umahi said that the people of Ebonyi want to be part of a United Nigeria and will not have any reason not to support Tinubu in 2027.

“We are going to be very vowel for our people to know that people are not in a castle without knowledge. We want to be part of a United Nigeria. We want to be treated fairly. We want to be counted. And the president is doing it.”
He also threw his weight behind Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, warning that anyone looking to challenge the governor’s position could only do it on social networks, since the people of Ebonyi would not allow strangers to reap where they had not sown.
“So we have no reason not to support it. We have no reason not to support Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru. Let me tell you something. If you want to fight for the governor with Ogbonna Nwifuru, you have to do it on social networks, because you will not come to Ebonyi State to reappare where they did not sow.”
