The United Kingdom (United Kingdom) is preparing for its first seasonal storm named, since Storm Amy will arrive at the presentation on Friday and Saturday, confirmed the MET office.

The storm is expected to move from the northwest, bring gusts to 80 mph (129 km/h) and strong fish, which caused yellow climatic warnings for wind and rain.

According to the forecasts, Ireland of the North, Scotland, the northwest of England and northern Wales will be the hardest, with winds strong enough to overthrow trees, cause power cuts and interrupt road trips, rail, sea and air.

The weather office warned that coastal areas and high grounds in the north and west of Scotland could see the most destructive winds, while the generalized bursts of 50-60 mph are probably in the affected regions.

Heavy rains are also expected, with 20-50 mm predicted in parts of Scotland on Friday. With the soils already saturated with the previous wet climate, there are concerns about floods and landslides in vulnerable areas.

According to the BBC, the interruption of transport is anticipated, including canceled transfers, delays in airports and restrictions on the main roads. The strongest winds are expected to relieve on Saturday morning, although the conditions will remain restless throughout the weekend.

The storm Amy, called under the joint system of storm names of the Met Office, met Éireann and Knmi, advances to the remains of Hurricane Humberto, which is weakening in the middle Atlantic.

For Sunday, the storm is expected to move towards the North Sea, leaving the advantageous conditions but a more dry perspective for much of the United Kingdom.
