Lagos APC praises Tinubu’s reforms in Nigeria’s digital economy

The state chapter of Lagos of the Congress of all progressives (APC) praised the reforms of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the digital economy of Nigeria.

The spokesman for the party, Mogaji Seye Oladejo, said that the 3 million technical talents (3MTT) is training Nigerian young people in coding, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.

He said: “President Tinubu has demonstrated a real vision by focusing on the digital economy. By training our young people in technology, they are preparing not only for today’s jobs but also for tomorrow’s jobs.”

Oladejo also said that the government’s plan to expand broadband to reach 70 percent of the country by 2025, as well as policies such as the National Artificial Intelligence Strategy and the Nigeria Startup Law, are creating “a solid base for innovation and growth.”

He pointed out Nigerian financial technology companies, as well as associations with Google, Microsoft and Meta, which provide training and support for young people.

“The model used for the first time in Lagos is now applied throughout the country. It is the backbone of a digital Nigeria that is creative, competitive and prepared for the future,” said Oladejo.

He called the Nigerians to support the digital impulse, saying that he will generate jobs, attract investments and place Nigeria in a stronger position in the world economy.
