The leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has said President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is currently facing the consequences of what he described as a “nemesis” fighting against his government, a situation he claimed to have predicted in 2023.
Primate Ayodele, in a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, linked the current controversy surrounding US President Donald Trump’s threat against Nigeria to what he called divine retribution against the Tinubu administration.
Primate Ayodele stated that the alleged Christian genocide in Nigeria, which has drawn the attention of the United States government, is “spiritually connected” to Tinubu’s leadership challenges.
“Tinubu is reaping what he sowed. Anyone can say anything; the genocide is to fight Tinubu’s government. We have said before that the government will experience problems.

“In 2023, I said that if Tinubu wins, Nemesis will fight his government. If he does not eliminate the Nemesis problem, the United States will definitely attack his government,” the cleric said.
He further stated that the US decision to intervene in the alleged crisis of Christian persecution in Nigeria is part of a broader strategy to “penetrate and weaken” the Tinubu government.
“The US plan to fight terrorism is a means to penetrate Tinubu’s government and weaken his second term. Tinubu must work to eliminate this. No one should feel sorry for him. He is doing well, but his enemy is fighting against him. He needs to find a divine solution to this enemy, it is not through technology,” he added.
The prophet also alleged that US soldiers are already present in Nigeria, urging the government to act quickly to prevent possible escalation.
“The United States is already in Nigeria; this government should do something different quickly,” he warned.
Primate Ayodele, known for his political prophecies, maintained that the Tinubu administration must urgently seek “divine intervention” if it hopes to overcome the looming crisis..
