The Arewa Youth Forum (AYF) has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s wife, Oluremi Tinubu, for her various Renewed Hope Agenda projects across the country, particularly in Northern Nigeria.
This is contained in a statement signed by the national president of the Arewa Youth Forum, Ahmed Mohammed Zagi, made available to journalists in Kaduna on Wednesday.
“The AYF, a non-partisan youth organization dedicated to promoting the socio-economic development of Northern Nigeria, has closely followed His Excellency’s activities and is greatly impressed by his commitment to empowering women, youth and vulnerable groups.
“It is on record that His Excellency’s Renewed Hope Agenda has initiated several notable projects, including the empowerment of women and girls. Through various initiatives, His Excellency has demonstrated his commitment to empowering women and girls, promoting their education and providing them with economic opportunities.
“For example, her organization has established vocational training centers for women in Kano and Kaduna states, where they can acquire skills in areas such as tailoring, catering and hairdressing.
“The Renewed Hope Agenda has also focused on youth development, providing training, mentoring and economic opportunities for youth across the country.
“For example, his organization has launched a youth entrepreneurship program in Lagos and Abuja, which provides young people with seed funding and mentorship to start their own businesses.
“Healthcare and social welfare: His Excellency’s initiatives have also addressed healthcare and social welfare issues, providing support to vulnerable groups, including the elderly, people with disabilities and orphans.
“For example, his organization has established a free medical program in Borno and Yobe states, providing medical care to people affected by the insurgency,” the statement said.
The AYF added that it is particularly impressed by His Excellency’s focus on northern Nigeria, where his initiatives have had a significant impact.
“Their commitment to empowering women and youth in the region is commendable, and their efforts to address healthcare and social welfare issues are laudable.
“For example, her organization has established a program to provide education and economic opportunities to out-of-school girls in northern Nigeria, which has already benefited more than 1,000 girls in the region,” she printed.
The AYF, therefore, commended Her Excellency for her tireless efforts in promoting the socio-economic development of Nigeria, particularly Northern Nigeria, and took the opportunity to congratulate her on the various honors bestowed upon her recently.
“We appreciate your commitment to empowering women, youth and vulnerable groups, and believe your initiatives will have a lasting impact on the lives of many Nigerians.
“The AYF is ready to support and collaborate with His Excellency in his Renewed Hope Agenda projects, particularly in northern Nigeria. We believe that our shared goals and objectives will allow us to have a more significant impact on the lives of youth and vulnerable groups in the region,” he assured.
