The Presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide, also known as Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo, has said that no amount of money, including $1 billion, could persuade him to venture into partisan politics.
Oyedepo made the statement while speaking during the impartation service at Shiloh 2025, the annual convocation of the church, held at Faith Tabernacle, Canaanland, Ota, Ogun State.
The cleric urged church members to remain focused on their divine calling, emphasizing that true impact and mastery comes from operating within God’s ordained purpose.
“In 2015, I warned the church that trouble was coming. Didn’t trouble come?” Oyedepo said.
“Partisan politics is outside my calling. If you give me a billion dollars to join politics, I won’t do it, because it’s outside my path.”
Additionally, he highlighted what he described as the urgency of the times, noting that the world desperately needs divine intervention.
“The world groans in darkness, but as it is written in Romans 8:19, the whole world awaits the fervent manifestation of the children of God,” he said.
According to the bishop, believers are preparing as an end-times army to provide solutions to national and global challenges, drawing parallels with biblical figures such as Joseph and Daniel.
“The army of God is about to arise to offer solutions to national crises in the order of Joseph and Daniel. This is the day when eyes have not seen and ears have not heard,” he added.
Oyedepo’s comments were part of a larger message urging Christians to avoid distractions from worldly activities and remain steadfast in fulfilling the tasks God has given them, which he said would enable them to positively influence their communities and nations.
Shiloh 2025 began on December 9 and will conclude on December 14, 2025, bringing together worshipers from around the world for spiritual teachings, impartation and fellowship.
