The Accord Party and the All Progressives Congress (APC) have won the overwhelming majority of votes in the ongoing elections. Osun gubernatorial election, according to the figures available from the results of the electoral units uploaded to the Results Viewing Portal (IReV) of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Data obtained from Yiaga Africa’s Election Results Analysis Dashboard (ERAD) at the time of this report showed that Accord polled 52.1 percent of the votes from the results uploaded so far, while APC polled 44.6 percent. The African Democratic Congress (ADC) recorded 1.8 percent, with other political parties sharing the remaining percentage.
The information was obtained from Yiaga Africa’s Election Results Analysis Dashboard (ERAD), an independent digital platform designed to track, audit and visually analyze electoral unit results uploaded to INEC’s IReV.

At the time of writing this report, INEC had uploaded over 87.48 per cent of the Osun gubernatorial election results to the IReV portal.
Tribune Online reports that voters in all 30 local government areas of Osun State turned out on Saturday to elect a governor who will lead the state for the next four years.
The elections are being contested by incumbent Governor Ademola Adeleke of the Accord Party, APC candidate Bola Oyebamiji and African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate Najeem Salaam, among other candidates.
Further verification by Tribune Online at the time of filing this report showed that results of 3,292 polling units had been uploaded to the portal.
The uploaded results represent 87.48 percent of the state’s 3,763 electoral units.
