Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has approved the appointment of three Special Advisers, 90 Senior Special Assistants and 910 Special Assistants as part of efforts to strengthen governance in the state.
The appointments were announced in a statement signed by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan.
The governor also nominated Erelu Taibat Yemi Oloruntoba of Akoko North West Local Government Area as Commissioner for Special Duties. His nomination has been sent to the Ondo State House of Assembly for evaluation and confirmation.
The three newly appointed Special Advisers are Hon. Abimbola Fajolu, Special Adviser on Environment; Chief Ade Adeniyi, Special Adviser on Rural and Community Development; and Mr. Muyiwa Ogunyemi, Special Adviser on Transport.
The statement also lists some of the newly appointed senior special assistants.
They include Erelu Toyin Ogungbure, Women’s Mobilization, South; Bidemi Obayangbon, Forestry; Gboluge Olufunmi Alex, Community Participation, South; Honorable. Akin Adeniyi, Community Participation, Central; and Obayan Theophilus Ayodeji, Community Participation, North.
Others are Kelvin Solomon, Student Affairs; Adeolu Iwakun, Volunteer Services; Samson Job Bazuaye, Oil and Gas; Fade Ojamomi, Youth Empowerment and Job Creation; Sam Adepoju, Public Participation; Alhaji Samad Orijeminiyi, Fellow; Victor Omodara, Grassroots Mobilization; and Abayomi Adefolalu, Photography.

Alhaji Abdulkadiri Adenoyi, Prince Nzuoma Egbulefu and Alhaji Garba Goni were appointed assistants for non-indigenes.
Adeniyan said the full list of the 90 senior special assistants and 910 special assistants would be made public in due course.
The appointments take immediate effect.
