He Nigerian Defense Academy (NDA) has released the admission list for the 78th Regular Fighter Course (78RC), containing successful and reserve candidates selected for admission into the Academy.
Selected candidates are expected to report at the NDA Ribadu Campus (old site), Kaduna, on Saturday, September 12, 2026, after completing the Armed Forces Selection Board exercise conducted from July 4 to August 19, 2026.
The Academy announced the admissions list in a statement signed by its Secretary, Brigadier General OA Ogunleye, and posted on its X handle on Wednesday.
According to the NDA, only candidates who have been offered admission are expected to report at Drill Shed, NDA Old Site, Ribadu Cantonment.
Candidates must complete their reporting by Monday, September 14, 2026, as the Academy warned that anyone who misses the deadline “will lose their place.”
Candidates included in the reserve list will not appear in this phase. The NDA said “they can be called whenever the need arises through their registered emails and phone numbers.”
Selected candidates must arrive with original copies of their academic and personal documents.
The documents include First School Leaving Certificate, Primary School Attestation, WAEC/NECO Results, Senior Secondary School Attestation, Birth Certificate or Age Statement and State of Origin Letter.
Candidates must also submit the “original copy of the duly endorsed Parent/Guardian Consent Form.” The Academy said photocopies of the required documents would not be accepted.
“Any candidate who does not submit the originals of the indicated documents will not be accepted into the Academy,” the notice said.
The NDA has also directed the selected candidates to come forward with specific clothing, footwear, sportswear, bedding and other personal items required for their training.
Items include black and white pants, a dark-colored suit, national costume, black shoes, white and brown canvas shoes, soccer boots, a hockey stick, white shirts, socks, sheets, and an iron.

Candidates must also bring black low-heeled shoes, dark-colored skirts, short black or blue stockings, and trouser suits.
Before applying to the Academy, all selected candidates must upload their O’Level results to the JAMB portal and accept their admission through the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).
Candidates who were not offered their preferred academic department were also instructed to use the JAMB portal to make the necessary changes.
The NDA further warned that successful candidates would not be allowed to receive visitors or leave the Academy during their first three months of training.
“Selected candidates and their parents should keep the above in mind for strict compliance,” the notice said.
